The wholesale used phones sector has been growing tremendously in recent years as a result of declining prices and increased competition from lower-cost new smartphones. The IDC predicts that the used smartphones market will grow at a compound annual growth rate CAGR of 11.2% from 2019 to 2024. Mordor’s latest report on the state of the used and refurbished smartphone market goes further to forecast a CAGR of 10.25% during the period of 2022 to 2027, estimating that the market will reach 459.86 million units by 2027. This is in line with the 351.6 million units that the IDC predicts will be shipped in 2024.

The Difference Between A-Stock, B-Stock, C-Stock and D-Stock Phones wholesale

 When it comes to wholesale phones, there’s a great deal of confusion about Wholesale A-stock, B-stock, C-stock and D-stock for retail & wholesale used phones. Traditional retailers and wholesalers that deal in new used & refurbished products use the same basic grading system, with slight variations in meaning. Most people assume that the grades reflect only condition, but that’s not always the case. To further muddy the waters, some sellers instead use “Grade A,” “Grade B,” “Grade C” and “Grade D.”

In recent times however, we have noticed how many of the manufacturers including Apple, HTC , Samsung , and LG , have all been making very affordable feature rich touchscreen cell phones, with advanced user interfaces, great email and social networking capabilities, and qwerty keyboards, not to mention the many Google Android phones being pumped into the market, that are begining to make even the flagship Blackberry devices such as the Bold 9700 look and feel dated.
